Colloidal silver and parasites is a topic of interest to many.
Colloidal silver is used to treat many forms of disease and illness: from viral illnesses such as leukemia, herpes, influenza, encephalitis, hepatitis, Kaposi sarcoma, yeast infection and even AIDS to non-viral illnesses such as fatigue and arthritis.
Colloidal silver as a tool to kill microorganisms is well established. You will want advice from your health care provider for serious infections and diseases, but colloidal silver may eliminate most pathogens as or more effectively than conventional antibiotics.
Parasites also may be killed by using colloidal silver. Colloidal silver and parasites do not long co-exist, as parasites have a one-celled egg-stage in their reproductive cycle, which may be killed in six minutes or less.
Colloidal silver and parasites are enemies due to colloidal silver's antibiotic and antiseptic properties. The solution's work is simple; pathogens and other microorganisms that come in contact with the colloidal silver suffocate from lack of oxygen. The colloidal silver dissolves the oxygen metabolizing enzyme found in most primitive organisms, a process similar to an electrochemical reaction. This unusual property makes colloidal silver able to perform successfully where other antibiotics cannot.
Parasites need oxygen to live, grow, and reproduce. Deprive them of oxygen with colloidal silver and parasites die.
One side effect of colloidal silver, especially in higher doses, is the potential for Argyria. Argyria begins when the body's natural ability to eliminate waste is overwhelmed by an accumulation of silver deposits. Silver particles then end up on the tissue, especially on the epidermal layer, changing the skin tone to gray, slate gray, or bluish gray. Aside from this potential cosmetic problem, colloidal silver seems to have no known side effects. Argyria is not metallic poisoning as some believe. It is simply the manifestation of silver build-up.
Colloidal silver is safe as long as you regulate your dosage. Remember that colloidal silver has been extensively used as a means to render water potable for extended periods. So there are no toxic manifestations with colloidal silver.
Colloidal silver can be made in the home, as long as you take precautions to assure the material you are using is not an alloy, and that your finished product is potable.
